Alissa Ongie Program Coordinator Hello, I am the Project Coordinator for the Preschool Literacy Training Project, part of Tennessee's State Improvement Grant. I travel all over the state to provide literacy workshops for preschool teachers and families with preschool-aged children. My favorite part of my job is getting to see preschoolers excited about books! I finished my M. Ed. at ETSU in 2004. My previous positions include teaching at Little Bucs for three years and working for Child Care Resource and Referral. My husband Dave is a sportswriter for the Kingsport Times-News. In my free time I enjoy going to NASCAR races, watching all kinds of sports, working out at the CPA, reading, and going to concerts.
