Dear Prospective Parents;

Thank you for your interest in the Little Buccaneers Student Child Care Center. At this time, the program is available on a first-come, first serve basis to all children of ETSU students between the ages of 3 months and 8 years of age. The center is only open during ETSU’s academic year and is closed when classes are not in session. The Center’s operating hours are dependent on the students’ child care needs and will vary each semester. We are typically open 7:45am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. These hours vary during the summer semester.

Attached to this letter, you will find an application. Before you complete the application please read the following information:

1. You must register for your classes and bring the computer printout of your detailed schedule when you apply for child care.

2. You must register for your child care needs each semester that you need child care. Attending the previous semester does not guarantee your child a spot for future semesters.

3. There is a $10.00 registration fee, and a supply fee, which is $10.00 for infants and $20.00 for toddlers, 2's, and preschool that is required each semester. This must be paid when you receive confirmation that your child has been accepted.

The Pay Scale is as follows: The rates are for 6 hour blocks of time (7:45-1:45, 8:45-2:45, and 9:45-3:45). This is the least amount you can sign up for and you must sign up for two days per week. This scale went into effect Fall 2007.

Upon receiving notification of enrollment you must pick up your Parent Packet and pay the fees listed above. The Parent Packet must be completed and received at least one week prior to the start of classes. You will forfeit your child’s spot if you fail to do this.
